Well I've decided to build my very first effect pedal! I'll buy a kit from Build your own clone. The thing is, I have no experience whatsoever in soldering and building pedals.
Which effect should I start with? Do they all have an equal level of difficulty?

Thanks

well you're going to be getting a free confidence booster kit to practice on anyway, plus: BYOC isn't all that hard i guess - get any effect you like i'd say, practice on the confidence booster and then get to the effect you want

So I could get a TS clone as a first build?

^sure, with BYOC its pretty much just popping the components in the right holes on the PCB, the offboard wiring or any soldering training you might need you can accomplish with the booster kit

Wait...sorry but I'm kinda lost about one thing. What's the booster kit??

After a few kits I guess I could move on to buying separate parts, then assembling?

I'd start off with the 250+ kit.
It's their easiest one

No I'm not Jesus. I would aspire to be though. I think under circumstances he would let you pay less if you needed to.
