I'm taking my DigiTech rp350 out of my pedalboard because it's a total tone sucker.

So now I need get and a stand alone wah, flanger, and phaser.

I just won a Crybaby Wah on eBay, and I already know I'm gonna get a PH-3 for a phaser.

I just need to know what kind of flanger to get.

I don't know that much about what flange pedals are good or not so I need some help!

What's a good, but affordable Flange Pedal?

i like my boss bf-3 flanger, although some people say the bf-2's are much better. the boss flangers are very cheap on ebay, you cna get one for like $60.
the ehx stereo electric mistress isn't bad although some don't like it because it isn't like the real deal mistress at all...i personally dontl ike the digitech turbo flanger at all...
so try the boss flanger.
ps - i also have the ph-3 and i love it. nobody even gives it a chance just because it isn't a small stone or a phase 90

I personally dig all of the Line 6 stomps except for the distortion ones.

They all have a great deal of variability in comparison to most pedals you find, which have 1 or 2 options.

I use an MXR Flanger. Its great! I'm not sure how they rate price wise...I can't remember. But definately one to look out for

EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress. Goregeous sounding flanger.

What do you find affordable? Give us your budget

EDIT: IMO the best you can get for the cheapest would be the EHX Stereo Electric Mistress or the Line 6 Liqua Flange, they're around the €100 area

If you get the MXR, make sure you buy a dunlop 18volt power adapter, these things eat batteries like a mofo.

+1 on the Ibanez FL9. Found mine on Craigslist a while back for $75. Was pristine(still is) when I got it.

That is also a reason I forget to mention of why you SHOULD check these out. They use 18v not just 9, so they really flange well.

first define cheap. then get something other than the ph-3. sure it has a lot of options, but it still sounds pretty fake and digital. you can get a boss ph-2 on ebay for $60-70, and i think it sounds a lot better. doesnt have all the options like step and such, but it also doesnt sound digital.

for flanger, id go with the deluxe electric mistress or fl-9. those seem like the best couple ive tried in the price range.
