READ THIS



Alright, first off, this isn't what you think, and you HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES.

I only got to set "13", did 3 of the pushups, and collasped. This is a test of endurance, and it is meant to make you FAIL.

How to:

First set:

1 Pushup

STAND UP - 1 minute break

Second set:

2 Pushups

Stand up - 1 minute break

Third set:

3 Pushups

REPEAT THIS TO THE 15TH SET.

1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15=120 pushups

A total of 1 minute break in between each set.


I congratulate you if you can get to the 15th set. (no BS either)


EDIT:

Took out the part that makes this far to easy.

You MUST TAKE the 1 minute break.

In fact, I say you should take a 2 minute break (I'm going to LOL IRL at the people saying that'll make this "too easy").

I remember me my bro and another guy were getting punished in our martial arts class and we had to do 100 push ups each...

I reach my 100 pretty quick and had to keep going because they couldn't...

I did it all straight too... no break.


Now... I can barely do 20.

T____T


EDIT: Exagerrating on the barely doing 20 part.

I can do 5 sets of 20 push ups mixed alternating with squats and sit ups in between.

It's hard though... I used to be in pretty good shape.

actually, plenty of people can....

amazingly, the big, buff guys can't,

I can do that with no problem at all.

This is a real challenge. I ended up doing about 80, then slacked off.

EDIT: To put that in perspective to the guy saying people can do 120 in one go, I'm 110kg's.

Haha, I can do 120 pushups straight as well, in fact I can go well near 150-175.

Take the breaks during this and actually this.

I'd like to see your pushups if you caan do 50+ in one rush. I bring it to about 20-30, but I do them really slow and don't go all the way up - that's how they're meant to be, not fast fast fast.

I just read the rules... thats the easiest **** I've ever seen. I thought you meant in a row.
I'd say that anyone in even moderate shape should be able to do that.

Hey does it still count if you do it backwards? Like starting at 15 working your way down to 1?

It seems like it would mentally easier, at least.

I almost made 14, but I'm in pretty bad shape now. Come summer time I'll probably do 15 easy.

I hate it when you suddenly find that "barrier". Like no matter how hard you push you're just stuck and you can't do any more.

No.

It must be done 1 to 15.

It's the way your muscles work and expand while stretching during the pushup that makes this so difficult.

For those saying its "SO EASY", they haven't done it yet.

I can probably do it, I can do 55 or so pushups with no break so this doesnt seem so hard.

I'm not very fit, I find myself very weak but I've learned how to punch very effectively. I'm a skinny guy, about 180 lbs at 6'5 so everyone sees I'm weak. But knowledge can beat power. I've learned how to punch and have practiced it (w/ the hip turn, the swing and mindset and yes, there's a mindset to it).

I couldn't do 120 pushups in a row to save my life. I'd have to put those on lay-away. If you see me do a video of 120 pushups, look at the lighting between "cuts" and if I'm wearing the same clothes... seriously.
I've gotten a lot of LOLs in my time but I choose not to sig them to not look like a pretentious douchebag

I can do 175 pushups no break. I can't do this.

My schools football team can't do this, only 1-2 people could.... and BARELY. lol they complained of being sore as hell

( I know its possible, but it is NOT as easy as people are trying to 1up themselves are making it seem )

but it's not impossible.


If you do proper push ups it makes it easier. Slowing down also makes it harder on yourself.
endurance is a mind game, not a feat of physical prowess.

Take the 1 minute breaks.

It's the SCIENCE of this that makes it hard.

Also doing proper pushups will make it easier then doing improper (but still "full") pushups, but I know people who half ass the pushups and fail. lol

I did it.

It was a bit harder than I thought but because you guys were making it sound like it was really bad I took all of the breaks.. even the one between 1 and 2.
