Try recording it through something else than a webcam, as it distorts your tone way to much to make a relevant rating.

not sure how I'd do that without buying an expensive mic to put in front of my amp. I got no recording output from my amp

these look cool, but if I lined out out of my amp using the external speaker jack, i'd fry it. So i'd either have to use my micro cube which doesn't sound as good as my peavey, or its back to buying an expensive mic to mic the amp

Buy a decent mike you have a nice guitar and nice amp and decent mike is needed for recording. Sure sm57 will do you good they have a cheaper version too which is supposed to be OK should be fine for home recording much better than a web cam and cost no more than a tube screamer.
