the packs just say 'custom gauge' on them.

do they vary or are all slinkies the same gauge?

personally, i like the hybrid slinkys, i think they're just the right size for that nice tone and perfect bending, though my other strat has the slinky titaniums on it and theyre alright

I use 10-52 DR's. I started out with Ernie Balls back in the day but discovered better brands later on. The thing I do like about ernie balls is I can find them around here for 3 bucks a pack but you get what you pay for. The dr's I use are 9 bucks a pack. But they last much longer.

I dont agree that DR's last longer. I got some black ones and the plating rusted off the plain strings right away. Ernie Ball Slinkys > DR. I think DR just charges more as they market they are "handmade"
