Hey I listened to your song on your profile. I don't play metal so I might be wrong but I think if you added some tonal or dynamic changes at some points in the song it might help stop it sounding similiar all the way through, seperate sections of the song and provide some contrast to help certain parts stand out. At the moment it is the same guitar tone all the way through and the same kind of playing and I think if you get some variation in there it would really help the song overall. Also the timing isn't great but that could be because you are playing alone with no drums to help keep you in time.

If you have the time to return some advice I just posted a new song: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1078036

It doesnt sound too bad but the lack of a drummer or singer behind it or maybe even another guitar makes it a little lacking. Some parts in the middle didnt quite fit well but i can see the overall concept of the song you are looking for. Just clean up your playing and maybe listen to a metronome next time you record, better gear etc and youll be set man.

Crit my new song please? http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/LaGrange/
