Loved it. It's not really my style of playing so can't realy crit it that much but I liked the guitar tone especially on the lead guitars, which I thought sounded much better than the rythm and the bass. What program did you use to record this?

In regards to the composition, I thought it was cool - 9 minutes long of music that I don't normally listen to but it deffinately kept me interested. Just thought the harmonised solo at around 4:40 was a little cheesy in choice of notes but then again this isn't my style of guitar and I loved the rest.

I know i didn't really say much there but C4C? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1078036

This is really wonderfull. Epic as ****, it kept me interested for the whole 9 minuetes (and 20 seconds). Really well written, and the recording quality is superb, the tone is great also. Amazing playing too.

To be honest I can't really think of anything that you could improve on, this is really a fantastic track, thanks for sharing this with us!

C4C if you want, a track called Dead Black Roses on my profile.

I'm a big fan of proggressive music, so I'm excited about this.

Very 'Change of Seasons'/'Octavarium' esque. I thought the inital use of odd time was a little unnessecary.
2;10 is sik! I like the way you've developed the the melody line there.

The recording itself is near perfect. Maybe a few mixing tweaks (e.g, hearing more of the kick drum, which is conventional in this type of music.), but otherwise great.

However, I do feel that this song is perhaps an excuse to have a wank on your guitar, as it generally does suonds like a number of guitar solos with clean section in between them to create structure. I would suggest getting a vocalist and adding vocals to that track.

Overall, a great example of prog metal music (that actually rocks!). You should be proud of what you've done.
