For a schecter tempest, I need two emg pickups to use for coil tapping- humbuckers. I want the best for a heavier sound. Thanks

From his profile : Fender: Blues Deluxe Reissue .
About the pickups, I wouldn't go for the emgs, passive pickups, are just fine for metal tones, and, since I can see you are not owning a high gain tube amp, they are even more than pointless. Go yourself for a set of passive pickups, or distortion pedal, then think about actives.

duncan jb/59 for the win

edit: coil tapping will not give you a heavier sound.
i assume you want the coil tap for cleans? get the duncans. emg's have superficial and sterile cleans, no life in them at all. jb and 59ers on the other hand have beautiful cleans. very warm and bright
