Well it looks likes it's drilled for a TOM bridge. So that answers that.

no, its plenty dry, just my horrible point and shoot camera.

and no, its not a baritone. I have actually found 25.7" to be a really good scale length for standard tuning.

and for campha as a tonewood, not sure yet. It is lovely to work with, and smells fantastic. Tonally it sounds good (knocking whilst ear on wood) and i have found some other aussies building acoustic guitars out of it.

25.7? thats a funny length.. Why not just go with a standard scale length?

      funny story actually

with one guitar a built, i ordered a premade 25.5" scale neck. after finishing the guitar, i could not for the life of me get the intonation correct, it was far too sharp. I figured i had to move it back .1 of an inch, which i did. Then i still had to adjust the TOM till it was basically 25.7" inches to get correct intonation. After this, the guitar sounded really nice, felt good, and the sustain was great, so i decided to stick with the scale length. The factory must of had some pretty dodgy measurements to get the scale length off that far.

whats the distance between the nut and the 12th fret x2? If its 25.7" that factory must have dodgey equipment

      Look foward to this

Experimenting with scale lengths is good, 25.5 just doesnt cut it IMO

I have big hands and get too cramped up on the higher frets, my next 6 string is going to be 26.5"

and all my 7 strings will be at least 27"

This. I actually have kinda bony fingers, but they are looong and I get very cramped up on the higher frets, to the point where I'm pretty much just using my index and middle fingers to do pentatonic stuff. Luckily, I've got long arms too, so I'm thinking about building a guitar with a really long scale, like... 28", and do like 30 frets or something.

Funny thing is, that will probably never get built (not by me, at least).
