if its supposed to be 1958, how come it hasnt discoloured at all, and why would you sell a 1958 pickguard, it should be on a 1958 strat.

OHMAHGASH!
That's exactly what I've been looking for to complete my worthless 50 year old plastic collection! (starts hyperventilating)
And it's only... 3 grand! What a deal!

You should at least go mad on something worth getting, like an entire guitar perhaps. No matter how expensive it is, that pickgard is useless by itself.
This is my signature. There are many like it but this one is MINE.

A pickguard for almost 3000? No I don't think I would....

I know it's stupid, you could get a custom shop strat for that, hell you nearly get a vintage jaguar or jazzmaster. 2,000 for a pickguard is ****ing silly.

It's not fake, that's a successful German eBay shop. Vintage guitar parts go for crazy money on eBay, and people actually buy them, possibly to put together a guitar from vintage parts if they're vintage purists. I wouldn't let it get to you.

That doesn't mean there isn't one German that can't speak proper English. My grandpa can't speak English but I can. You really have some prejudices.

i'm fairly sure that that's a geniune seller, i've seen that style of ad several times.

it looks like a genuine item too, the discolouration is pretty authentic.

but $3000 is silly
Get off this damn forum and play your damn guitar.

98.8 feedback is actually pretty poor. In their recent feedback they've had a few quite expensive items with negative feedback. I wouldn't be surprised if that's a scam.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

The EBay seller is an idiot and so is anybody that buys from him/her! ViIntage guitars are worth money in original condition, pieces are not! You can't assemble a vintage guitar from different instruments and expect to sell it as an original. Only uninformed wannabe collectors would go for something like this.
In the words of PT Barnum......" there's a sucker born every minute"

I mean no offense to the TS here either!
Moving on.....
