drummers suck dick.

Also, isn't there a drum part of this forum? Over in some fairy tale part of it.
sometimes I see us in a cymbal splash or in the sound of a car crash

if you're just starting out, there are plenty of kits for about 400 pounds, especially used. and used drums are perfectly fine, all you'll have to do is switch the heads.

but honestly, just go to the music store and ask the workers for their opinion, they're usally more intellegent about drums than we are.

Get a Pearl Forum, they're solid beginner/intermediate drums.

Yet they are an important part of any rock-metal-punk etc band. Funny that

Barely. Anyways TS it doesn't matter so much the name as the materials, Basswood sucks, as it mostly does in guitars, maple, birch, poplar, mahogany, that's what you want to look for, not sure how to describe each, but there's a different sound fro all different woods in drums.

But yet I still take offense...

But, take a look at the Tama Imperialstar, hardy drum set for your money.
Also, http://www.drummerworld.com/forums/index.php. Best drummer site.

Ludwig LC
Taye RockPro
Some form of Tama
Pearl Export

and i'd recommend u buy secondhand, it's cheaper, usually comes with cymbals and think about it, drums are meant to be hit.

Cheers guys

Nah basswoods not that bad.

Look at the Pearl Export, look used on Ebay, or local music store, their everywhere. They were discontinued but they were the #1 selling low end drums for 20 years.
Great drums, low price.

Good luck.
