Hey UG, well I have a problem, I'm running Windows Xp, and my hidden files are not showing up. Every time I go to Options>View and select Show, then close the box, it goes back to "Do not show". This is a virus, right?

If so, does any one know how to get rid of it/find some alternate method of showing them, maybe Regedit or something.

Thanks!

Do you have administrator privileges? Do you have any special file-hider programs running? You could try going into command control and editing the attribute flags, but I'm not sure if that still works in XP.

Most of the replies didn't really help much, but thanks anyway guys, I found a little shareware utility that did the trick for me.
