Hi,
I've been searching for a 5150 and I finally may have found one on craigslist.

However, he says the standby switch goes out. I asked about it and he said he took it to a repair shop and they said it might be an internal fuse. He said he had it fixed but it still cuts out sometimes.
In his words, this is the problem:
"The standby switch will flicker, and the sound sometimes cuts out. It dosent happen very often, but it does happen. I have played on it for about 2 hours at band practice with nothing wrong, the next time i played it though, it cut out once or twice."

What could be the problem? If it's an easy fix, I'd be getting a great deal on this amp.
Thanks.

Wiat does the standby literally stop working or does a light just go out? Either way milk money off of this.

I didnt have anything planned out, and I didn't know **** about improvising, so it was like "OH SHI- SOLO TIME" so I kerry-kinged it.

Well he said the sound cuts out because of it.

But I'm not sure what would be wrong with it >.<
