Looking into buying a new amp. I play anything from soft rock to death metal, so it needs to be very versatile. My favorite bands are Metallica and Megadeth, by the way. My budget is under $300, which is not a lot, I know... I play an ESP LTD MH-250. Oh, and used is fine, but new is preferred.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Are you just playing at home or gigging? If you're just playing at home look at a Vypyr 15 or 30.
The Rig
Gibson Flying V
Blackstar HT-5 Stack
Dunlop Crybaby Wah
MXR GT-OD
Boss DS-1
Boss DD-3

Go for a Flextone first, and if you cant find a good one go for a Peavey Vypyr 75W.

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

I thought the vypyr was a fair bit better than the cube, especially for lower gain tones. Flextones get high regards as well, I'd certainly look for one of those as well.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

Yeah, my friend has the Vypyr 30, I like it. I'll try to look around for a Cube and Flextone just to check them out. All three of them sound so awesome! Haha.

^I dont think its all that versatile to tell you the truth.

I still think that tube mix thing is a scam.

Id go for the Flextone ll used.

you can easilly find one for less than 300.

I still don't understand how it's versatile, it does rock and clean, o well, to each his own. It's a really dumb suggestion in this case, TS needs everything from clean to death metal. Not to mention the 300 dollar budget. Why do people feel the need to ***** the gear they own?

Are they below 300 & able to do death metal?

Flextone or Vypyr. Not sure what the difference is between the Flextone I, II, and III but my guess is a couple features. I'm sure if you looked at the owners manual it would become evident. I played a II and it was very nice, used it was up for $299. Loud as snot, sexay amp that can hit a lot of tones very well for a modeler.

Now, with the Vypyr, is it worth it to get the Sanpera Pedal? If so, what is the difference between the Sanpera I and II?

Not trying to be mean or anything, but I hate the rebel. There's no sweetness to that amp whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but not good either.
