I have a Squire Stratocaster. I recently put .12 gauge strings on it and added the third spring that came with my guitar. Although I love the heavier strings, the action is too high now, especially on the left side. A friend recommended maybe either reconfiguring the spring setup to put more tension on the left side, getting different stronger springs, or changing the action.(which i don't know how to do)
Any Ideas?

Thanks

the how to is in the green link in my sig.

unless the bridge is still lifted. in which case you need another spring.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
