not sure.
buuuuut
i wanna know why a double rec is better than a single, and a triple rec is better than a dual.
i know they have more rectifier valves, but what do they do?
by answering this question im sure TS will also get some idea on tonal differences.

EDIT: nvm. that silver chair dude nailed it.

its not better, the single is rated at 50 watt meaning more satisfaction at lower volume, i personally think the dual sounds sterile.

The difference in Rectifiers is the number of channels

no its not. it's the number of rectifiers. single recs have a single solid state rectifier, dual rectifiers have two tube rectifiers which are switchable to solid state rectifiers, and triple rectifiers have three tube rectifiers.

Different rectification modes sound different and also, a 50 watt amp is NOT just a quieter version of a 100 watt amp which is NOT just a quieter version of a 150 watt amp.
