hey, i am new beginner.

as everyone know the sratch plate on a guitar is made to protect it from sratch, is this correct or not.

You're a new beginner? So not an experienced or old beginner... Mkay then.

And yeah, if it was called the scratch plate, it's probably gonna protect the guitar from scratches... Or tomato sauce.

Technically yes, but this doesn't mean you can't scratch the guitar. Hell, look at some of the best musicians instruments. There are dents, cracks, scratches, burns. A worn instrument is a loved instrument!
