iv looked through loads of websites trying to find some light on this, but have failed.
is it possible to have one word aligned to the left, and another to the right, on the one line?

say i had a picture, and i wanted it to say something above it on oneside and something above the other side, how would i do it?

its for a blog.
im looking for something like < align left > text on the left < align right > the other text.
that sorta thing, but on the same line.

Here, just do this:

Regular left aligned text here.<span style="float: right">Right aligned text here.</span>

You can also use div tags in place of span if you need to float a block element. But I think you'll be fine with the span tags.

<div style="width: 30%;(or something)"><span style="float: left;">word1</span><span style="float: right;">word2</span><img src="image file here" /></div>

it's the way i believe you'd do it.
