My ears are bleeding just looking at that beast........ You'd probably need industrial strength ear muffs to even play that thing.

P0nx don't even play instruments. P0nx sold their instruments for booze money. And they sold their booze for heroin money.

Dear god, my ears are ringing just looking at it.

Anybody heard about how the US military captured Noriega? After the invasion of Panama, he hid in his mansion. The US laid siege to it and played rock and metal at ear splitting volumes night and day until he gave up and left?

That amp kinda reminds me of that...

they look like 4's

i would actually think that number of speakers would give a very warm full sound. think of a wall of sound effect.
and no way those 4's can be more than 50 watts each.

Oh for God's sake.

It's 4 810s on their sides, under one chassis. The head is probably a CL under a wider, mostly hollow chassis. Or several power amps to handle the impedence. Could be 8s, but then again, 810s aren't all that big. Look at the cab's width. Looks to be around the height of an 810.

^ but 4 810s is only 32 speakers

I ignored the row of 4 10's at the top.

Man, I'd so love that. My neighbours would stop complaining about the drums they hear on Saturdays at 2pm for half an hour and start complaining about the bass tone that's causing them internal hemorraging.

But when she complains about the cabinet's tone, I'll just say "But it's punchy! It's an Ampeg!", and like all people, she'll go, "OH, OK, punchy, Ampeg. Got it. It's good then" and leave.

that my friends is called a trade show "prop", designed to attract attention to a mfg's
booth at trade shows. like having girls in bikinis, only cheaper. lol
#25
i would love to play that, and i'm a regular guitarist, but it'd be impossible to set your eq quickly. you'd have to climb the ladder as shown next to it, mess around with the eq, climb down, decide that you don't like it and repeat the process. and it'd be almost impossible to play with a cord unless you had a 50-75 ft cord. a wireless system is greatly recomended for this. lol
#26
Of course they are 10" speakers

I don't know, Rick, some of those trade show girls look pretty damn cheap at times.
