my instructor has an esp m 300 guitar that i might trade my jackson kelly for. the esp is black, set neck emg active pickups neck inlays etc. the paint is iffy and needs a little tlc. missing a knob and needs a new input jack. personally it plays great. my kelly is has a bolt on neck with the crimson swirl paint job. guitar is in great condition chip on the neck but thats pretty much it. they both have floyd roses. would this be a good trade?

That gives you rank of -10 out of 10. You fail. Go play the flute.

I personally wouldn't let go of a Jackson if my life depended on it, especially a Kelly. If it is recent one, you have two Seymour Duncan pickups in there worth about $80 each, and a Jackson neck to boot

if its an actual ESP and you can trade it for a KE3 thats pretty impressive

I'm pretty sure M-300's are LTD models, since I never knew of a real ESP with 300 or any hundred after it. Keep the Jackson.

im pretty sure that the only M300 ESP makes is an LTD

so with that personally i would stay with the kelly

but then again a guitarist plays what they choose depending on personal opinion so if you like it and think its worth it then go ahead
