Hi guys. As the title states... Can u guys recommend me a cheap and good lead boost pedal.
I play metal
I need give my solos a lead boost
I already got one in mind which is a used boss ds1 (i will jus cranked the volume)
Anymore?

And...

I will be upgrading my crappy stratocaster knock off.
Please dun tell me to throw it away , buy new guitar or ****.Because it holds sedimental value.
For the bridge only(probably whole set...o well ... got a tight budget)
I am deciding between Duncan's Hotrails or EMG SA or Dimarzio Superdistortion or Mighty mite hotrails.

Thanks
I appreciated your help

dont get any digitech, they will suck your tone, but i cant speak on the new hardwire ones, they seems good tho

+1 for the Bad Monkey.

I don't notice mine sucking anything.

The Double Muff is actually a pretty good pedal for boosting at under $60. Even though described as two cascaded muff fuzz circuits it really sounds nothing like a Big Muff or a fuzz. It's bright and transparent compared to a Big Muff, and can give a nearly clean boost at the lowest distortion setting.

Also the Cool Cat Transparent Overdrive at $40 is being called a clone of the boutique Timmy OD. With comparison videos on youtube.

uummmm....Bad Monkey's are pretty transparant. I like the Cool Cat idea too.

WAIT.

Before we go any further, what amp are you using?

I am using a line 6 spider 3 30watt. I think i am set on the EHX nano lead booster

but still stuck with pups

Boosting dosen't work too well with SS amps, let alone modeling amps. I suggest saving up for a new amp.

no problem dude. Which amp would u recommend?

The Bad Monkey is a good digitech pedal - Cheap and effective. Get off the bandwagon.

Also +1 to the B-52
