this song is basically about me moving on, not from anyone or anywhere, just trying to let go of the past. i just found it in the archives of my computer, it must have been written a good year or so ago by me. so bear in mind it is one of my earlier pieces, just don't flame it too hard.

It's a mellowish song, but has a bit of shouting in the breakdown, its like a generic modern rock song, veering towards earlyish linkin park, and has a bit of inspiration from early lost prophets stuff. (the lyrics arent so inspired by the above bands, but the actual guitar playing style is)

Leaving..

The time has come
but i cant stay
you know its here
but you cant say
nobodys business is all of ours
but the clock has broken
and the boat has gone

When the day comes
we'll know its here
when the day comes
youll have no fear
when everyone has left
but im still standing
youll know its for the best
youll start understanding

You percieve the world as a lovely place
but i know its not the case
when everyone is stabbed in the back
fighting over the last of the crack
in the world that is yours

When the day comes
we'll know its here
when the day comes
youll have no fear
when everyone has left
but im still standing
youll know its for the best
youll start understanding

all alone not by yourself
no ones shown
how the day is done
when distance is the key
to help yourself see
that no one stands here
and SCREAM IT!

When the day comes
we'll know its here
when the day comes
youll have no fear
when everyone has left
but im still standing
youll know its for the best
youll start understanding

When the day comes
we'll know its here
when the day comes
youll have no fear
when everyone has left
but im still standing
youll know its for the best
youll start understanding
