the metal zone was my first pedal and i actually used it on my micro cube that i had at the time. Not worth it for that amp, the cube has good enough settings on its own

i have a metal zone through a cube 15 and with enough experience adjusting, it'll sound decent. i'm also playing through stock ESP pickups too, so that should tell you something.

but sorry, i dunno anything about the microcube

The 15 and 20 have different amp models. They don't have the higher gain models that are found on the MicroCube (and 30/60/80). You might benefit by running one in front of a 15 or 20 (on the clean channe)l if you need more gain.

It would be a waste with the MicroCube.
