This has been bothering me, I've been looking at Telecasters recently. I have been seeing teles and strats made in Mexico and the U.S for a while, nothing new there. But I've recently thought about it, any real/major differences? Is there anything different about them?(Except where theyre made) like wood? parts? etc.?

Also one last thing any major differences in their tone?

Better quality wood, probably better QC, better electronics, better pickups (generally), better hardware.

Overall, the quality is generally just better. However, with the recent price hike i'm not really sure if they're worth the big difference in price....

Also, i think it's more common for american strats to have the 2-point bridges.
