so...

my strings keep slipping even though I am using Ernie Ball .009 gauge strings with the grip thing. I have to keep retuning and its getting annoying now. Im gonna break something...jk..

but really, please tell me what I can do to stop this. Its really frustrating

Did you think of the fact that they might just be stretching?

Try pulling them out away from the fretboard a few times. Retune. Do it again. Retune. After a few cycles it should stop. Also, make sure you have enough string wound around the tuners. three or so loops for the bass strings, and a few more for the treble strings.

Yes new strings will stretch for a day or 2 when you first put them on but they should be fine after that
