hey guys, i was considering buying a boss ds-1 (in australia) and sending it in to robert keeley (in the u.s) to get it modded, and sent back. apparently theres a $30 international shipping charge on top of the $75 to get it modded.

BUT...

i have heard about taxes and whatnot on bringing things like that into the country, and how they cause mass ownage on people

my question is, will australian customs/border security/whoever the hell handles this stuff rape my wallet? or will the international fee be all i have to pay?

thanks, ill check back on the thread in the morning. goodnight UG!

international shipping sounds expensive. if possable, just buy one in your own country
Epiphone G-400
Yamaha Pacifica (Mod on hold due to procrastination)
Rocktron Banshee
Marshall 10CD

i cant really find them anywhere, (no guitar shops or ebay has them) so this is pretty much my only option

Learn to do the mod yourself. It's fairly simple and for the price of getting a pedal modded (basically 130 for you I think?) You could buy 2 pedals mess one up and still be under budget.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not
