Is there any way I can convert straight from FLAC to Apple Lossless? I was thinking maybe burning the FLAC files to a cd then importing them to itunes would work. Would the files still be lossless?

I am sure there is a converter but I am not tired to be googling things for you.

I did google it myself but only found a program for Mac OS X.

Surely you import the FLAC's into itunes without the cd? Or are you using it as a medium to transfer it from one place to another?

dBpoweramp look in to this.

or what some one else was doing?
"The way I've done it in the past is to use Winamp to convert from FLAC to WAV. Then I import the WAV files into Itunes and convert to Apple Lossless."

I could do the winamp way, would that make them still lossless?

EDIT: Actually I can only do that with winamp pro which costs. I'll try dBpoweramp.

EDIT2: NVM that costs too.

I use DBpoweramp and it does the job pretty well.

Also you don't have to pay for it if you catch my drift...
