Well, those of you who were right about the verses of Boy from Desert Sun were, of course, quite right, and so were those of you who were right about the chorus. Happily, I had another song lying around that wanted a bridge, and so I pulled the stuff I liked out of Desert Sun and stuck it in the middle of Clementines (which I haven't posted, here), turning Clementines into the verse and chorus and Desert Sun into the bridge, thus transforming the song into a monstrous vermin! Or, you know. Into this song, which will be on my profile in short order.

You can't imagine life without her
Her laugh today, tomorrow's tears
When she's not there the moments
Add up one by one
To multiply the weight of sorrow's years

You're the popcorn
She's the prize
She's the time
You opened up your eyes
On the journey down the road
Just to find you had arrived
You're the rhythm
She's the tune
You're the rocket
Takes her to the moon
And her kisses taste like
Clementines in June

You can't imagine life without her
Her laugh today, tomorrow's tears
When she's not there the moments
Add up one by one
To multiply the weight of sorrow's years

A farm boy from desert sun
Went riding on the morning
Didn't have a horse
The morning had to do

I miss my sidekick's
Easy wit and banter
Riding on the morning isn't
Comfortable for two

It's not like fairy tales
It's so much better
Did you get my letter
I wrote it just for you
It's written in blue bells
And fallen feathers
The princess never
Had a thing on you

You're the popcorn
She's the prize
She's the time
You opened up your eyes
On the journey down the road
Just to find you had arrived
You're the rhythm
She's the tune
You're the rocket
Takes her to the moon
And her kisses taste like
Clementines in June

You're the popcorn
She's the prize
She's the time
You opened up your eyes
On the journey down the road
Just to find you had arrived
You're the rhythm
She's the tune
You're the rocket
Takes her to the moon
And her kisses taste like
Clementines in June

You know what? I got no complaints. I could probably sit here and tear shreds off it all day, but why? It's a song, it rhymes, it's incredibly catchy and I'm sure when I hear it, I will like it even more.
