Right guys, looking to get a new amp in the near future and have narrowed it down to these two. I play just about anything from punk, metal, indie, grunge to classic brit rock. The amp will more than likely get used at small gigs. I've played on both amps and cant decide between the two.

Leave some comments, any advice is welcome

What brought you to the conclusion of these 2? There is much better out there for the money.

i dont know what price range your in but the best all around amp(thats not outrageously priced) i've ever played is the fender blues deluxe. I run a landmine distortion though it for metal. I can get any tone imaginable with it. best cleans around.

I'm figuring your budget is around $400. I'd look at the super champ XD. The peaveys, roland etc.

Get Peavey Vypyr 75, its like only £50 more than the Spider, and the Spider is rubbish.
