yeah, ive been planning this for a long time. but some questions

if i swap out my tuners to locking tuners could i use my tremolo more?
is it risky to drill holes in my headstock?
should i just take it to the shop to have it done instead of me doing it?

heres pics of the guitar

Yeah you can use the tremolo more with locking tuners, but you gotta replace that nut with a graphite one other wise its pretty pointless.

Nothing wrong with drilling holes in the headstock, just measure correctly so you dont go through.

Get a shop to do it if you're unsure.

Id always advise taking it to a shop to have mods done
1) They are trained and know what is safe and what isnt
2) If they **** sumthin up, theyre responsible

stuff like locking tuners and having them installed is pretty cheap right?

edit: i mean cheap as in below 100 AUD

This.

EDIT: Locking tuners are a bit expensive. At least $100 USD.
I'd just install them yourself.
it's all just coming back
it's all coming back

it's all coming back to me

having the shop install will be more expensive than the tuners themselves.

Whenever I clean my guitars, my family wonders why it smells so good; I say that I exude a fresh citrus scent from hidden orifices.
They stopped asking

Shouldnt be, I had Grovers and Gibson pickups installed on a guitar and even with taxes it was just under 100, and I already bought the hardware
