in scotland they call carbonated drinks 'juice' so you would say a can of juice for example. But they call poop jobbies, so their take on things doesn't count.

2001, watch it high now.

Oh, not literal drug-laden psychedelica?

Watch 2001 anyway.

... in all seriousness, this movie is LSD for your eyes.

I still have not met one person who knows what the hell happens during the last sequence of the movie.

But it could be argued that the whole scene is an unannounced dream sequence, when really Dave is just asleep on his way back to Earth, and it symbolises his "enlightenment"; being free from the power of machines (HAL).

Not so clear cut anymore eh?

Try Jacob's Ladder. Just watched it recently, and it held up pretty well.
For old school psychedelic, you can't go wrong with 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Eraserhead, of course.

Yes. Doesn't get much more philosophical than that, although it pretty much sacrifices plot...

Jacob's Ladder, Requiem for a Dream, Fight Club, and Donnie Darko are some that have been mentioned that I REALLY love.

I'm sure you've seen The Matrix already, but that's a good one. And I'm sure Point Break wouldn't fit this category for most people but the Bodhi character and his values/point of view made me think a lot personally.

Watch the Robin William's movie "The Final Cut."

It's really weird and kinda eye-opening. It's a dark movie but a good one, IMO.
