I bought this from a UGer about a year ago, and coupled with my Traynor YCV40 it creates a lot more feedback than I would expect. I'm using a MIM strat which is silent on the gain channel when the pedal is not plugged in, but as soon as I step on the TS9 I get a lot of feedback. Is this normal for overdrive pedals? I only usually have the gain set to about 6 on the amp so I'm not just maxing out my drive. I plan to get a noise gate in the future but I still think something could be done to cut down on noise. Any ideas?
