Alright I've got a pretty dumba$$ question. I bought a set for fender noisless pickups a coulple of years back and I'm only now getting around to installing them. I never installed pickups before but I have the wiring diagram and I have experience with electronics. My problem is, I can;t tell the neck pickup from the middle. I know which one the bridgem is because it has yellow and black wire but the other 2 both have black and white wires. So how do I figure out which one is which?

Thanks.

dunno, maybe the middle and neck are the same pick ups, so it doesn't matter?
edit: or just try it one way if you think it doesn't sound right, change them?

get an ohmmeter (they're dirt cheap and you will have plenty of uses for one)

measure the resistances. the bridge will be higher resistance.

IF the other 2 pickups are the same, no problem. use either, in either location.
but if there is a difference in resistance, the lowest resistance goes at the neck.

I really doubt they will have a rwrp for the middle.
they're noiseless, so hum-canceling isn't an issue.
