Since joining this forum i have spent the last few months recording on my Boss micro some older songs and uploading them to the site but this is an example of a more recent one. Its a song for the Easter period which is near upon us and the lyrics mark the 'triumphal' entry (note the irony) of Christ into Jerusalem.

HOSANNA!

Where was the royal guard of honour
The horse drawn carriage of gold
When He entered the city on His princely mount
The back of an ass s colt?

Let the people triumph, lift their voices and shout
For if they are silent the stones will cry out..

Hosanna!
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna! Hosanna!
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord

Where was the pomp and ceremony
The procession in royal robes
When so willing a man on so stubborn a beast
To His grueling destiny rode?

Let the people triumph, lift their voices and shout
For if they are hindered the stones will cry out..

Hosanna!
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna! Hosanna!
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord

Would that you knew, Jerusalem
The things that will make for your peace
Soon you will chant a contrasting refrain
But for now see your Sovereign weep!

Let the people triumph, lift their voices and shout
For if they are silent the stones will cry out..

Hosanna!
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna! Hosanna!
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord
