This song is slightly different from what I usually write, but I think it's pretty good. I'm not certain about the name; "Going" is another option I've been considering. C4C!!!

such a new freedom
to see the open sea of sand
post-escape from the kingdom
of sitting and waiting

now i decide
to know which way to go

it's such easy travel
no walls to stand beside
lean against and wonder why
no mountains to climb

my feet move themselves
nomads living the life of movement
and the heat just keeps building

i lay down for rest
but it's too hot
i'll get up, keep moving towards the next
sand dune, after sand dune

it's such easy travel
no walls to stand beside
lean against and wonder why
no mountains to climb

now i wonder
which way to go
can't see down here
here where nothing grows
and i waiver

it's such easy travel
no walls to stand beside
lean against and wonder why
no mountains to climb
We're only strays.

It keeps a pretty steady rhythm but when say "after sand dune" it kinda breaks the rhythm but if you like that part keep it...I like the title "The High and Low" it's catchy but makes sense.

Yeah I'm also not sure if I like using the phrase sand dune in itself. I just don't know what else could replace it and keep the imagery/meaning.
We're only strays.
