ok, i ordered it today and i kinda think i might be regretting it... i dont know lol. can some owners give me some feedback or comforting advice lol?... i bought it for 599$ plus tax. was there a better choice in my range? im canadian..

edit: mainly a practice amp but hopefully soon a band.

i play metal ( killswitch, bfmv ect) but i might try some cleans soon

Randall has some of the best solid state metal amps out there. I mean, you could have gone with a Blackstar HT-5 for that kinda price, and it slays...but it may not be high enough gain for BFMV.
I've bought, sold, and traded more gear than I care to admit.

i dont buy off ebay. and i couldnt find one used at a store or craiglist. and a new 6505 combo would be like twice my budget

The 6505+ 112 combo is coming out in May-August and is 550$ new.

You'll be more than fine with the RG100. I prefer SS's for metal anyway

i spent a whole day trying out new amps and these randals came out on top for me there very versatile

your sorted mate there solid made have exeleeeeeent speakers and the distortion crunch and the low end is amazing on them little buggers i may be getting one soon

also the clean channel is amazing realy realy smooth with reverb

Ive owned this amp for about 4 months and i have to say it is amazing for metal. The Overdrive channel gives plenty of gain and its got some awesome cleans.... dont ever regret getting this amp
