So Im re learning this song on my acoustic guitar and I haves a question.

The tab says to capo the 3rd fret. So i have my capo there and everythings cool. You end up picking the open e string (or the g note). Then you go down a few frets and you end up having to make two left hand adjustments. Instead of capoing the 3rd fret , shouldnt it be capoed on the 5th fret?. it would make it easier and the second fretting would ring better.

Anyone have any idea of what i am saying?

i understand, but it means you cannot hit the g note...... you would have to do it an octave higher or something which is up to you really.....
