Well I want to learn how to play Bloodmeat by Protest the Hero

Here is the song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhMfz4HrcEA

and here is a good cover:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFjOS5kO4nQ

Here is the problem, I am not good at playing fast and finger tapping.

On the cover video, I am looking for ways to practice how to play the parts at 1:15 - 1:32 and at 3:13 - 3:26)

I would like some advise on how to practice the techniques used in those parts since I have little to no experience with those techniques.

Thanks

You'll get good at it by working on it. Why work on something else as a means of getting good at this, when you could just practice.... this.

learn the part, practice it. If it's beyond your capabilities, work on something that is more realistic for you and come back to it later.
shred is gaudy music
