Hey UG,
I just watched the vid explaining why Ernie Ball strings are the best for EMG pickups, so I decided to give it a try and buy some Ernie's ( I use D'addario atm)

While I'm at it, I'm gonna go for lighter strings. I used to play in standard C ( .12 strings) and I want to play in Eb now. I'll do the setting up and such myself, but now my question.

Which strings should I use for Eb? Would .9 do, or do they get loose?
I like 'em tight.

Those strings, would they do?

around that gague should be fine, because you're close to regular tuning... or maybe go up one gague. or whatever you want.

Any link to the vid?
I normally use Ernie ball but my K6 came with D'Addario and I'm not very impressed with them.
