What are some songs that, the first time you heard them, mesmerized you, caused you to drop everything else you were doing, and listen to that song ten times in a row? Songs that truly grabbed you and gave you a feeling of, "wow, this is ****ing AWESOME, I've never heard anything like this"? You know what I'm talking about here. Everyone has felt that.

Here are some songs that have done this to me:
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit (although the very first time I heard it, six months before on a jukebox, I hated it, but the second time what I just described in my first paragraph happened)
Pearl Jam - Last Kiss
Pearl Jam - Alive
Pearl Jam - Yellow Ledbetter
Tool - Stinkfist
Tool - Ænema

That's all I can think of for now, because this rarely happens to me.

John Petrucci - Damage Control
Joe Satriani - If I Could Fly
Joe Satriani - Always With Me, Always With You
Paul Gilbert/Racer X - Scarified

Might be many others from a few years back, but I can't really remember. Some Pantera, Slayer and Megadeth from early days used to have me quite obsessed .

Hmm I need to think about this. It has happened before, but I don't remember what they were very well.

I believe it was these.

-Medio-core - NOFX
-Suburban Home - The Descendents
-Dirty Harry - The Gorillaz
-Soul to Squeeze - Red Hot Chili Peppers
-Eat the Meek - NOFX
-Unknown Soldier - The Casualties
-Screaming at a Wall - Minor Threat

There were definately more but I don't remember them.
