In order to get a hotter i need to move my pickups closer to my string

so does that change my sound?,Cause i wanna keep the sound but i want some more "screaming" sound at the 15-22 frets.

(I got an Epiphone Sg)

Edit:Also..Does it keep my bends ringing for longer?.

No - moving pickups closer to the string decreases sustain because of the increased magnetic pull.

I really doubt it's going to make a difference, what you're trying to achieve is down to having a decent amp EQd correctly, and more importantly having good technique.
