anyone ever took out the chassis of a solid state combo amp ??? specifically a combo amp . are the speaker wired to the chassis or the chassis can be take out can be take out ???

like an Orange Crush 10 or even better the orange micro crush ( the mini amp )

i already have a 4x12 cabinet and dont want to put a combo on top of it ... id like to have only the chassis of a orange crush or marshall avt 20 or any other solid state combo . those 6 inch and 8 inch doesnt interest me . i would plug my cab through the line out /external speaker ( that some amp have ) .

would it be hard or it can be done . ??? taking a small practice amp chassis and put it on top of my cab , i would probably built a plexiglass cover for it so i dont touch the wired .

thank you .

But why would you want to run a crappy, low power SS amp through a 4x12? What would be the point?
