Ok my birthday is next week and I have no idea what I want, I don't need a new amp or guitar, don't want any pedals since i am using a combo amp and I have a drum machine, any advice for any guitar related gear I could get for a max of £100 and I mean as a max of 100 preferably below.

Well, tough really - sorry, but why get something that is going to be poor?

Maybe some pups on ebay - or a nice tuner...or..

Got a tuner, don't need pickups, I was thinking maybe about a footswitch.........

Post a thread with common sense.

Making music and expanding on that, is an expensive activity.

Cables - there you go.

Pups - better ones.

Tuner - better one.

Perhaps YOU should get looking through the Argos catalogue then....

Ok maybe this thread is a bad idea, but is that a no on the footswitch then?

buy some dvds that contain guitar lessons or something. or get some real lessons from a local music store. everyone thinks about what gear they want, but they never seem to give a crap about playing better.

I hope you have heard the expression "the penny drops".

Well it should explain what you just said and what it means to many of the kids learning.

oh, haha, must not be a saying used much over here.
