Ok so I'm in the market for a delay pedal, currently considering either the line6 DL4 and the TC electronics supernova.
Would anyone be so kind to tell me whether the buttons on the DL4 are assignable to 3 different delays with different paremeters, or if theyre sole use is in the loop function?
Also any feedback on either units would be greatly appreciated, or any other suggestions.
cheers

you can assign the buttons, yes.

do the DL4.

you reckon so?
I'm not 100% sure of the features on the TC electronics, but it appears to be an impressive unit.

Get the Nova. Sounds better then the DL4 IMO.

Be aware that the DL4 has a volume drop when activated. That was a deal breaker for me.

what about the boss dd-20?

If you go with Boss, than I'd suggest the DD-7 instead of the DD-20.

A lot more useful, IMO.

right Metallica is a given. Personally I like to pretend the bus exploded and killed them all in '86.
