I have a Damage Control solid metal, and i was wondering if i could get a tighter sound from the pedal, or would it just overdrive the amp? Thanks for the advice.

I think it would push the damage control pedal into overdrive. can't say that i have tried it though

I think I've heard of using a clean boost to push a tube pedal before. It should work in theory, though you might end up with a fuzzy/muddy mess.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

it works. but in a different way..

the sound does tighten up but on the pedal, you use more drive on the pedal than volume.

an example being that all the knobs on the screamer should be around 12 o'clock or so.
