Hi guys, due to going to uni and stuff I thought it best to downsize in order to fit all my guitar stuff in the accomodation and for it to be portable around campus with bands and practicing due to doing a contemporary music course and performance.

This amp is brilliant for people wanting a verstile amp with Brit crunch but more gain than most Marshalls. Used by such bands as Nile, Trivium, Muse around Origin of Symetry, etc so well acclaimed.

I would either trade for a smaller amp, or maybe if its something really exciting just offer anything if you want this amp and ill give an answer. For sale at 350 for the head or 400 for the head and my 1936 Lead Marshall Cab included. Cab on its own is 100.

Thanks

James

A smaller amp? Would trade for my Randall RG50TC? It's the same watts but it's a combo and probably alot smaller..

mm not sure, ill have to see what other offers i get because i was hopping for smaller wattage, and more versitility. But still good offer.

I was looking at these before, theyre fantastic amp heads.

You ever thought of just getting an attenuator for lower volume playing? Or are you just after a small wattage combo for size?

I would buy it off you if I wasnt so in love with the Peavey Windsor Head (also its out of my price range :P)

I've got an extra hand wired princeton reverb kicking around. I typically sell the princeton for 800 quid. I could add a few switches to make it more suited to hard rock but to get metal tone you will have to use pedals but with the right pedals it will hapily give you metal tone. The amp is quite small has a 10 speaker and looks like a practice amp but it's It fat switch so th12 watt really do kick ass which is why the blackface princeton reverbs are some of the most popular studio amps in the world.

here is a page with some soundclips. The page was made to give clips to a guitar maker that I supply for and he wanted mostly clean stuff but there is a bit of distorted at the end and you can imagine what it might be like with pedals.

sorry some of the above post doesn't make sense. I'm using a laptop that is buggy and my cursor jumps all over the screen and seems to type in random places.

Oh, and the traid would be for the head and the cab

Yer im after a small wattage combo really aswell as an attenuator probably wouldnt make much difference as i dont push it past 2 really. Wouldnt be worth the extra cost for not alot of difference. But yeh a very good sound from them.

Erm im not sure on postage, it will probably have to be a courier or something because it is a very bulgy item. I was hoping pick up would be a much better option but if your willing to pay extra for the postage then im up for that. Where would I get the pricing and how much does a 2 x 12 normally weigh?

Help please

Would you be interested in swapping the cab for an epiphone valve junior? I have put a Hammond 125 dse output tranny in, has a gain switch, tweed tone control and have changed a few components inside to tighten up the bass. let me know!!
