I ran my mouse pointer over a link and the pointer changed and I thought it was the grenade danger indicator from COD5 so I was trying to find a way to move away from it but couldn't, so I panicked and ran out of the room.

Your Arms Feel Like Home--3 Doors Down
fingerpicked, more rock on the chorus, but good song and doesnt sound too hard.

I really like the skillet song. I always thought hey were Christian..

They are. That doesn't mean that they can't write a love song. I really don't like that stereotype to be honest....

Anyways, while Banana Pancakes is grossly overplayed, Better Together by Jack Johnson isn't. Easy to play, and sounds real nice as well.

Is the country genre acceptable? I have loads from the late eighties through mid nineties that most people on UG have never heard...

Earl Thomas Connelly- The Hardest Thing I've Ever Had to Do; Love Out Loud
George Strait- I Cross My Heart; Drinking Champagne; Last In Love
John Michael Montgomery- I Swear; I Can Love You Like That
Alan Jackson- Wanted; If I Had It To Do All Over (I'd Do It All Over Again); I'll Try
Little Texas- My Love
Paul Brandt- I Do; A Rose In a Box
Bluegrass Rocks

Do they have to have lyrics? Odd question I know, but sometimes instrumental can have the greatest love.
Wow, that sounded a bit too cheesy.

Anyways,
Iron & Wine: Ressurection Fern
Iron & Wine: Trapeze Swinger
(This might be overplayed, might not) Glen Hansard & Russian Chick (Can't remember her name): Falling Slowly

The Iron & Wine are indie, so might be a bit odd. Still, beautiful.
it's all just coming back
it's all coming back

it's all coming back to me

More than Words - Extreme

Definitely NOT overplayed /end sarcasm

One a more serious note If I fell - Beatles, in all honesty any beatles songs work

Doug Stone I can't believe I forgot to mention him, he is the undisputed king of the country love song.

Paul Overstreet- I Won't Take Less Than Your Love (disclaimer: lots of his stuff resolves to a Christian theme, so if that's not your thing.... )

Clay Walker- (I Know What Love is) What's It to You

If you are looking for something with a more "masculine" tone than some of the late-eighties country guys, check out some of Conway Twitty's music. Lots of long songs from him are VERY simple to play, sound great unaccompanied, and his voice doesn't have the "delicate" feel. You may have heard his cover of "Slow Hand" from the Pointer Sisters (I think; maybe it was Diana Ross?)

About Better Together, I watched two videos and they both had different chords. @@ both are a bit difficult... Which one should I do? Yes, I'm that bad D:

or
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHvdkRSc0ZU
which one sounds more like the actual one?

Instead of doing barre chords, do the capo version of the song. There's a tab/chord list for it on here somewhere. But basically, you capo 2, and use D, D/C#, A, G, D/F#, and Em open chords. Sounds really nice, and almost exactly like the rather complex barre chords.

I'm going to say Eyes On Me by Faye Wong/Nobuo Uematsu.

Partly because its excellent, partly because its stuck in my head.
Skeet UK is awesome, he can get WD Music parts discounted.

try "emily" by from first to last. one of me favorite acoustic songs, pretty easy to play and is a love song. definitely not overplayed. "silver bullet" by hawthorne heigths (acoustic version of course) is really good too. check them out man.
