No way, Dio is awesome.

I know, and as much as I love the original, I listen to the cover more often.

Machine Head's cover of Hollowed Be Thy Name

Wow man you read my mind!

I was very impressed with Machine Head's cover of Metallica's "Battery", and Killswitch Engage's cover of Dio's "Holy Diver.

My favourite band, Manic Street Preachers had a two-disc album, with one of the CDs being around 20 cover songs.

Are you just going to disagree because you wanna be cool on the interwebz? Everyone has different tastes. At least explain why you don't like the covers.

Binge and Grab - Buckethead

Even though he was actually in the band that had the original song, it's still a cover.

Hendrix's version of Hey Joe was better.

GNR's version of Live and Let Die was better.
R.I.P Jon Lord, Rory Gallagher and Jimi!

Kid rocks version of "Werewolves of London"? or his version of "Sad But True"?

Just kidding

Shinedown did a good cover of "Simple Man" by Skynyrd though
