well actually it was about a week ago, but i havent had time to put pictures up yet.

sooooo here we go.

first off, I got 4 new speakers for my cab through my bands endorsement with eminence.

nextttttttttttt
i put a new faceplate on my 6505. its just a pice of wood that i spray painted haha.
anddd i got all of that rack equiptment. a korg dtr-1000, furman power conditioner, bbe sonic maximizer

and finally, I got an mxr smartgate

im really pleased with everything, but the speakers have mids out the ass. i have my mids all the way down on my amp and its still pretty prevailant. the gear has already seen 3 gigs and all has went well! (except a cable shorting out haha)

Is the stars and stripes everywhere really necessary?

I still have no idea what the hell a sonic maximizer actually does, could you please explain.

Thats a gnarly lookin amp setup you have there. I'm canadian though so it doesn't appeal to my patriotism.

looking nice although I think that the whole us flag thing is a bit overboard.

also nice that you have an endorsement deal. how much did you get of of the speakers.
and last, whats your bands name?

Ibanez ATK300
Rocktron Chameleon

I like it, actually.

the flags arent really all that necessary. i just wanted something to help me stand out from the rest of my band. im really forgettable next to the rest of the bands because our vocalist has a huge beard and dreads, our other guitarist is like this huge pacific islander dude with massive hair, our bassist is like the "cute" one of the band, and then me and the drummer are just kind of there haha.

and i'm not exactly sure what the maximizer does and how, but it really just adds fullness to the rig. i was just told to get one, so i did. ha. probably a n00b approach, but it happens.

its in my sig, too.

EDIT
no i didnt get it(maximizer) because its expensive and pretty haha. it really wasnt expensive at all. in fact, i took it out of my dads PA rack haha. i have a 32 band EQ in it too, but thats WAY too much for me to mess around with.

Congrats on the endorsement and gear man.

Ha!

That's awesome man. Looks killer. I've got a SmartGate too.

Here is a visual that might help with what the Maximizer does. I'm not an expert on it but it is my understanding that it evens out the tone after it has been through an EQ. Drawring is courtesy of Bartdevil_Metal.

I realize now you don't have one , but anyway...for the other guy asking.

It organises the treble, mid and bass frequencies and sends them to the correct part of the speaker to amplify.

Nice remodelling JOB, but the taste in remodelling is a little suspect

Now all you have to do is learn the national anthem and play it at woostock...

EDIT: Nice gag with the 'Patriot' speakers too...

actualllyyyyyyyyy
i did the national anthem in a talent show when i was in 8th grade. and i did it at every show my old old band did. haha

in fact, i was going to try to play it at my graduation this year, but it ended up that im giving a speech (class president) and i really dont want to be "that guy" that thinks graduation is all about him haha.
