HI,
I'm asking if you guys know a good guitar to play power metal (herman li, seraphim: kessier hu,...) for under 500$ with good pickups or i think i will change them to Air Norton- X2N but prefer to keep stock pickups with a good metal amp.
I still not decided about the amp yet but i think it will be B-52 AT-112 or ibanez TBX30R.
Plz, don't suggest any modelling amp.

dragon force uses custom ibanez
i'd say go for an ibby S series

Proceed with extreme caution!

good to see that i am not the only seraphim/kessier fan

kessier uses an ibanez rg with dimarzio pickups and that is what i would recommend

in the amp category, go for a used mesa/boogie or a hughes and kettner

good luck

I once saw somebody carry a Guitar Hero controller in a case to protect it. He probably should have packed his testicles in there too, seeing as he won't need to use those for quite a while.

Whatever you do, don't go for that Ibanez TBX, one of the worst sounding amps I can think of.

EDIT: If you are positive you want to spend that much on a guitar, look at the Ibanez S320. 500$, two humbuckers, slim neck, double locking trem. Should work for power metal just fine.

Id go for an Ibanez S or a Jackson. Id go for the B-52 for an amp.

The B-52 is a 60W tube amp, is it suitable for SMALL room at low volumes.

I'm digging about hughes and kettner, do you know any good ones?

yeah for you the Switchblade 50 watt combo would be good
it would be good for your room and for small gigs
it is all tube and has a bunch of effects built in
it is also expensive, but very much worth the money

Is there any better deal than the B-52 for metal for bedroom use coz i read that it's pretty loud, well and let's say that in the house they don't share my style of music?

its also 100W and has 2 speakers
but dont worry it will also do room-level volumes

Thanks, but i'm focusing on less priced amp 400-500$ so i think that mark will not do it for the price. Anyway, i'm still asking if there is a better choice than B-52 AT-112 for power metal with less power?
